EXTENSION OF DEADLINE FOR USE OF OLD GENERATION KENYAN PASSPORT

Further to our previous notices on E-Passports, we wish to inform Kenyans living in Canada that the use of old generation machine readable passports has been extended from March 1st, 2020 to 1st March, 2021 where it will be no longer valid for travel as indicated in the Press Statement below:-

Application for new Kenyan E-Passport can now be made at the Kenya Embassy, Washington, DC.  Please (Click here to open link) for details.

Note that, before you visit any of the processing stations, applicants must apply online and pay the requisite fee through the eCitizen Portal. It is important to note that you must submit the application documents in person at the Kenya Embassy in D.C. to complete the process.

E-passport applications can also be made at any of these passport offices: Nairobi, Mombasa, Nakuru, Embu and Kisii.
