Legalization of Documents
The State Department for Foreign Affairs in Kenya legalizes/authenticates documents in Nairobi. However, your applications are forwarded through the Kenya High Commission.
The Kenya High Commission certifies the authenticated documents at a cost of CAN $ 20.00 per document payable to Kenya High Commission.
Requirements
1. Application Letter detailing the need for legalization, signed, and dated by the applicant. The application letter should clearly indicate in full – the telephone number, email address, residential address and/or postal address for any correspondences from the Mission. Note that it shall be your responsibility to immediately notify us in writing via consular@kenyahighcommission.ca of any changes to their residential / postal address to avoid inconveniences in delivery of services.
2. Original and copy of each document to be legalized issued by a Government Authority.
3. Copy of identity of the applicant.
4. A self-addressed prepaid return envelope from Xpresspost for the return of your documents.
5. Processing fee; C$20.00 per document payable via (non-refundable) payable to “Kenya High Commission” by either Money Order, Bank Draft or Certified Cheque.
